Russian experts comment on Kazakh President’s state-of-the-nation address
The address of president Nursultan Nazarbayev to the people of Kazakhstan caused a wide resonance in the Russian expert community. They reacted with special attention to the statement by Nursultan Nazarbayev saying Kazakhstan is ready to support the aspiration of other CIS states to join the Eurasian integration. Experts note that Western economists forecast that Kazakhstan will receive up to 15% GDP growth by 2015 by joining the Single Economic Space. Observers have called the decision to create the equivalent of Interpol in the area of the SES as a very timely one as the Eurasian police are expected to combat transnational crimes.
