Zhanna Mukhitovna Akhmetova

Zhanna holds a university degree in education where she studied hard. She studied journalism in Alma-Ata and Moscow and continues studying now.

She made her debut in the youth editorial office of Kazakh television as the author and presenter of the “Hello Alma-Ata” musical contest.

In her service record there was only one record which remained for a long time which said “Kazakhstan 1” but in 1995 another record appeared, it said Editor-in-chief, chief producer of the “31 Channel” TV and radio company. She worked there for 14 years. Today, she works for the “Caspionet” channel and thinks that it was her best decision.

Zhanna is proud of her “Outstanding student of TV”, “Altyn Zhuldyz”, “Altyn Samruk” and “Distinguished Journalist” awards and Academic of Journalism title. She has won several TV related contests in the CIS countries.

Her main passions are life in all its spheres, art, cinema, literature and fashion.

Television is the most remarkable event in her professional career. Owing to television, she has met such clever and talented people as Chingiz Aitmatov, Federico Mayor (Director-General of UNESCO), Dr Mahathir (Malaysia),  Suleyman Demirel (Turkey), Hans-Dietrich Genscher (Germany), Amangeldy Tuleev, Nagashybay Shaykenov, Altynay Asylmuratova, Evgeniy Evtushenko, Gaukhar Murzabekova and many others

She dreams of writing a story which will be like a real film about television. In this story, she wants to describe the most positive and negative characteristics of the personality. Envy and stupidity are the worst things, while kindness and humaneness are the best ones.
